On Nov. 12^th, 38 thousand runners gathered on the bund in Shanghai to attend the Shanghai International Marathon (SH Marathon) 2017. This is the 3^rd time that Citi Orient Securities joined the race as the official sponsor. The Citi Orient running group consists of 150 staff and customers is full of passion and ready to challenge and go beyond themselves by achieving their PB (personal best result of running).

This year, SH Marathon canceled half marathon race for the 1^st time and there are only three items, i.e. full marathon, 10 km and 5 km. The purpose of canceling half marathon is to better meet the demand of runners by turning the SH Marathon into an internationalized race with high quality. The marathon route started from the Financial Plaza on the bund, followed the Huangpu River bank in Huangpu and Xuhui districts and ended in Shanghai Stadium.

As the race sponsor, Citi Orient set up a cheerleading station at the 8^th km of the route. More than 40 staff from Citi Orient boosted the morale of runners passing by. In the Shanghai Stadium, the terminal of the marathon, runners visited the promotion booth of Citi Orient to take pictures in front of the backdrop with the slogan “Fight for the new record!”
