Jan 19, 2018, Citi Orient Securities was awarded the "Outstanding Securities Company in Corporate Bond Business for Poverty Relief 2017" by Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE).

In 2017, the bond market of SSE achieved good results with a significant increase in market size and quality. The year-end bond trusteeship amount reached RMB 7.4 trillion and the total annual bond turnover exceeded RMB 247 trillion. The SSE evaluated all the participants in bond market based on their performance in bond issuance, underwriting transaction issuance, underwriting transaction innovation, duty in the period of existence and business quality in 2017.

This award shows SSE’s full recognition to Citi Orient Securities’ positive contribution to poverty-relief corporate bond business, including project research, project design, bond issuance, etc. Besides, several programs in CCTV such as CCTV news and Economic Information broadcasted this poverty-relief bond project.
